His real name is Dilip Joshi. He is a witty character and usually gets angry on his wife and says her "nonsense". He is very afraid of his father . He always gets complains about his son from his neighbour, Bhide. He flirts Babita Ji his neighbour and her husband , Iyer is jethalal's enemy . His family is a Kutchi Gujarat-Jain. He has his electronic store "Gada Electronics" in Andheri. He is educated till class 10 and cannot speak english properly. There are so many problems in his life that he cannot live even one day happily.
